Fridemar, do we really need local bilinks here on meatball? I would imagine that the back-link functionality you get by clicking on the page title is at least as good. (using it just now gave links to IntelligenceCollective and CraoWiki:TheTransitioner)
It would make me very happy to have more social and technological support for increasing awareness towards a more bidirectional Web, starting from local to global. Your question is helpful. Thank you. -- FridemarPache
I also doubt the usefulness of these links. I admit that I'm part of what Fridemar interpreted as SilentAgreement, it seemed not worth the effort to oppose this practise. By the way, if an author needs quick access to his pages, he may just as well collect links to them in a workspace page. And, the SisterSite (SisterPage?) feature produces such links automatically without that they get in the way of linear readers.
Helmut, I noticed that so called SisterSites (as e.g. WardsWiki have problems)
Fridemar, there has been no collective agreement at Meatball to use TwinPages. I'm only aware that you have been using this scheme and that others have tolerated it.
SisterSite is a concept and it depends on how well it is implemented. I know implementations that work instantly. But most hosts don't bother to implement it.
Helmut, could you please point to such implementations?
