[Home]WikiName

MeatballWiki | RecentChanges | Random Page | Indices | Categories

The name of a page, which usually conforms to the LinkPattern of the wiki, and is usually made up out of WikiWords.

A person's homepage on the wiki has a name corresponding to the person's real name, the UserName. It is often used to sign contributions.

See also: TextFormattingRules, Wiki:WikiName.

This usage doesn't sound natural. A "wiki name" should be better used as "name of a wiki (project)". Examples: MeatballWiki, WikiPedia or NoSmoke. -- HelmutLeitner

Thank you Helmut, for pinpointing on this. To my great surprise even the term WikiPageName doesn't exist yet, so I suggest to collect and redirect candidates for WikiPageName there, similar to BeggingWikiPageName. -- FridemarPache
