The feeling we get when we read the deserted Recent Changes is a sort of feeling of emptyness, of sadness we inevitably get when we see a once vibrant place being deserted. Perhaps now is the right time to reflect on what was the Meatball experience. ------ '''Meatball was Sunir and Sunir was Meatball''' It was a very interesting experience of what can be called ''Virtual friendship'''. SunirShah was the principal animator and a lot of people gathered around the Sunir Planet. Meatball bore so much the Sunir imprint that with Sunir gone, Meatball was dead. Perhaps Sunir did not know one of monarchy's number one rule: Think about putting in place a sort of system for your succession. We should look further into human enterprises who died when their main leaders were dead or gone and we'll have the reasons why Meatball is now deserted. ------ '''Build on solid ground''' We have to ask ourselves the question. ''How could the Meatball organization be built on solid ground?'' or ''Could the Meatball organization be built on solid ground?'' It seems to me the answer is no and we have ample evidence about it. The evidence shows that Meatball was a social gathering united around Sunir Shah and it was not built on solid ground. Did Sunir fail? Could he have done more so that when he'd leave, Meatball could continue? YEs if he did find a successor to continue the party. NO if Meatball was to become what it was intended for: A body of knowledge on the wiki medium. ----- '''The project was doomed from the start''' What's a wiki? It's a bunch electronic index cards thrown on Internet. Each card describes an item of information. It has a Recent Changes, a diffs and a system of categories. To be continued
