Guessing there's some other page on Meatball for WelcomeNewcomer, one of the core WikiPractices, but creating this to get the SisterSites link from c2, and mention/link to [http://www.blueoxen.com/blog/2009/04/the-incredible-power-of-welcoming/ this great blog entry] at BlueOxen about DannyHorn implementing a welcome message whenever someone first edits a wiki; ''and'' measuring the results (increased registration, logging in, and editing).
