Until now we have seen examples, where Wikis are used as smart tools for established companies, who source out their problem solving capacity to the crowds. Google:CrowdSourcing Instead of paying some (say a team of 10) employees, to design, program, deliver content, etc. they harvest wikis, especially CreativeCommons based wikis to solve their own business problems often without paying a dime to the contributors. The author hopes that his provoking intro leads to a list of established or known initiatives, where wikizens can demonstrate income models, that have been created bottom-up from existing wikis.
