? thinking skill. Handy for thinking about consequences and cost/benefit analysis.
The process according to EdwardDeBono:
- Make three sections, one labeled Plus, another labeled Minus and the final labeled Interesting. Concentrate on the Plus section first, writing down everything positive you can think of. Then, do the same for Minus. Do not write anything more for Plus. Finally, write down any facets that are neither positive nor negative, but deserve attention under Interesting. Once again, do not write anything more under Plus or Minus.
For a Wiki, since it is in an eternal WikiNow, we don't have to all focus on the plus first, then the minus and finally the interesting. Just add things to one or the other as you see fit.
