In my .NET programming class, I don't just get questions answered, but even more questions upon the answering of a question.

"Next, Visual Studio opens the Web site and asks for user authentication (username and password). After a brief pause, during which Visual Studio copies
the application to the remote Web site, the application’s published Web page
(named publish.htm) appears."

This could mean anything, like WebDAV or something.
