An 'ideal' model for Communication within a wiki community:

all of the communication is done transparently in the wiki
the targets are content and community (both defined locally and explicitly in the MissionStatement, but also reccognizing the implicit readership that results from VisitorRole)
people talk about ideas to elaborate them and gather knowledge (maybe form a PatternLanguage)
people talk to get to know each other, build relationsships (maybe become friends)
