Notes (how do these connect to existing MBW pages?)
- The most efficient form to build long term (intellectual) value is still the printed book.
- Exception: when a project like WikiPedia can provide content quality and longterm virtual existence.
- Hypotheses:
- Wiki is a system for authors, not for everyone. Only about 5-6% of the population has writing ambitions.
- btw. In the meantime, during the past decade, a special class of writing apps has appeared: Scrivener, Ulysses, Papyrus, ... that address the needs of fiction and non-fiction authors. It might be interesting to see how WikiForWritingBooks? is doing, and what WikiEngines and WritingApps? can learn from each other.
