If you like those 'Explorer Bars' in IE5 or higher, you can now create one for your favourite Wiki - see TWiki:Codev/InternetExplorerSidebar for the gory details (but at least you only need to use HTML and a little registry file hacking, not C coding!) --RichardDonkin

An alternative to using 'Explorer Bars' in IE would be to take advantage of MicroSoft's ChannelDefinitionFormat. This 'extension' to XML can be used, in its simplest form, in a similar way to ResourceDescriptionFramework / RichSiteSummary (RDF/RSS) in that it allows the user to see the latest changes to a website. Unlike RDF/RSS it can only be used within InternetExplorer and cannot be viewed on a website. -- PaulMillar
