Second, to build in defenses around the financing, if we presume Meatball will be around for 50 years, we can multiply the yearly costs by 50 (or better, 100) to get a good target of how much money it would take to keep the site running for a very, very long time.
Budgeting beyond 10 years is generally useless. Presumably more money could be raised. The second question is whether or not we want to raise funds for marketing purposes, or to expand the services we provide to other projects.
