- Wiki:WikiRefactoring reminds me on the process of writing a good letter. I have begun to write better letters and emails since I got into refactoring.

You might want to take a brief glance at DigestedSummary and EditCategories, as the way we use the summary/digest field on MB is a little different from (and, we like to think, better than) the norm. I'd personally be interested in your take on this, and whether you think it could be useful on other wikis you host. -- ChrisPurcell
- After I've read DigestedSummary I think the ideas is somewhat nice, but is also related to the default discussion page at MediaWiki. We at MoinMoin are discussing similar GOALS in MoinMoin:FeatureRequests/DiscussionAndOrCommentPages#head-3d66fb59cc81004eda0c39ddf97990f96e7caf80 right now. ThomasWaldmann's approach is to have parallel Wikis that contain comments and stuff about a page. There is clearly a need for meta discussion about content, the question is how to solve (summaries, comments, discussion page). I think this depends on the usage. I personally love the possibility to chat while editing a page - this can be so powerful. But this is another medium. I thought about jabber rooms for some topics. I think 1:1 relations between a page an meta is not so good because often a meta discussion can affect many pages. Have to read EditCategories now --Thilo
