Often people will recover material from a previous artistic material and repurpose it. For example, John Lustig bought the rights to the 1950's First Kiss in order to [parody] it. In this way, the artist swizzles the original context in order to make an original point playing off the prior art. Similarly, PhotoShopping? and other digital editing are types of context swizzling.
