For Wikis T1, T2, T1<>T2 with pages t1 in T1, t2 in T2, we define the TwinPage relation as follows:

t1 Twinpages t2 :<=> WikiPageName(t1)=WikiPageName(t2) and BiLinked(t1,t2)

Verbose: Two different Wikis are called TwinWikis iff their pages are mapped one-to-one and each mapped pair of pages are namesakes (i.e. share the same WikiPageName).

Discussion:

Due to the name-sharing, TwinPages don't need to repeat the name of their complementary twin ("brother/sister page"). Instead of this, they only need to use their WikiPrefix or WikiLogo? in a uniform way. This is an excellent way to promote wikis by continuous name-recognition.

The metapher "twin" implies symmetry in the sense, that "A is a twin to B" is equivalent to "B is a twin to A".

The terms FriendPage, FriendWikis, PartnerPage?, PartnerWikis? are also worth to be considered to be formalized/implemented/used -- FridemarPache

The FriendPage relation is interesting (as a metaphor and a source of inspiration), because it is

reflexive (each one is their own friend (hopefully))
symmetric
transitive ("your friends are my friends" useful at least as mnemonic)

The use of the WikiPragma: "TwinPages:" on the bottom line of the page, immediately followed by a list of wikis with the same Wiki Page Name is Wiki:DoTheSimplestThingThatCouldPossiblyWork . In this way, making TwinPages is userdefined. It's not anymore the privilege of a GodKing to make twins.
By applying the insights, gained from TwinPagesArchive, the author made the above definition less restricted.

The CommunityWiki:RecentNearChanges page even makes it easy to review a merged set of RecentChanges.
Consider too Wiki:SisterSites as a form of automatic linking between wikis.

I put your contribution into the redefinition of TwinPage. Thank you.
As currently I found no WikiFarm yet, that supports the automatic creation of TwinPages or even TwinWikis/TwinBalls, I am going to use the following workaround in my SlideWiki experiment: For each slide page with name XYZ, I take as TwinPage a page with name XYZ_ . In this way any wiki W can be made a partition of two wikis W1, W2, where all the pagenames in W2 have trailing underscores, whereas all the pages in W1 don't have one. The disadvantage of a manual made TwinWiki pair (W1,W2) is, that it may be another threshold for newcomers and that it takes a bit more care. But I think, that the advantages for a partitioned SlideWiki outweigh by far this little nuisance.

Now we need a decent term for the Wikis who have TwinPages in common. "Sister" A cannot have a T1, wheras "Sister" B has a T2, where T1,T2 are twin pages. Therefore the autor suggests the term TwinWiki. -- FridemarPache

New notation:' After TwinPages we insert the pseudo-icon <=>. If this usage is established, we can omit the pragma "TwinPages", because the pseudo-icon '<=>' appears to be sufficiently selfexplaining, if there are enough use-cases.
