Part of the MeatballMission is to be an intercommunity, which means we reach out to other projects, or other projects reach out to us. This is a directory of such projects, and it is by no means exhaustive. If something has been left out, please add it. Our apologies. Don't be shy.

1. Outreach

WikiWiki. SunirShah and CliffordAdams have both worked on the backend to WikiWiki as well as developing helper scripts, including:

UseMod. CliffordAdams wrote UseMod, as well as owns and administrates the domain. SunirShah is now also an administrator and a developer. MeatballWiki serves as the philosophical space for UseModWiki. See also InfiniteMonkey, a codename for UseMod 2.0.

WikiPedia. Wikipedia originally used the UseModWiki software and it was heavily influenced by the design decisions made by Meatball. We continue to have a strong relationship effected by people who mutually participate in both projects.

MetaWiki. The wiki search engine.

ModWiki. An Rich Site Summary (RSS) extension module for wikis.

TourBus. A communally-edited tour of wikis worldwide.

OpenDirectoryProjectWikiCategory. Meatball continues efforts to remand the Computers/Software/Groupware/Wiki category to soft control by the public.

MeatballWikiBasicsSnapshot. A ball of documentation pages to kickstart new wikis.

SlashDot. An indepth analysis of Slashdot notwithstanding, Meatballers rescued ZWiki from a pr0n vandal. See SlashDotted.

GründerWiki. The success of Meatball as a meta-community inspired this German counterpart that closely cooperates.

CommunityWiki. A CopyLeft and more traditionally compsci fork of MeatballWiki.

WikiIndex. A wiki of wiki, wiki people and wiki ideas started by MarkDilley

PeriPeri. An attempt to develop context-sensitive namespace resolution by ChrisPurcell (Kritter).

PersonalTelco. AdamShand's guerilla wireless network project. He introduced the idea of the PersonalTelco:ActivePortal, which employs NetworkSoftSecurity based on our SoftSecurity pattern language.
